We rescued Tiger, the orange tabby, from an animal shelter in Tennessee. He has shown us every day since we got him that he is thankful. I couldn't ask for a more loving and tolerant cat. Sadee, the black tabby, on the other hand was rescued by us when her mom, a neighborhood stray, abondoned her. She has shown us from day one that she is the princess of the house. We bottle fed her until she was old enough to eat. She bosses us and the dogs around. And if she doesn't like something, then watch out! She is fun and playful, though. She loves to chase our teenage son around the house. She never has learned to meow, but she still makes her feelings know. I don't know what we would do without either of these fun cats!
